June 10, 2005. This was Jim Sciurba's last show with the Insect Surfers. He is moving to New Orleans this month. Adrien Anthony, part time replacement for Jim now becomes the full time replacement as the newest Insect Surfer.

August 5, 2004. Punk, New Wave Music Promoter Bill Asp, 53, Dies William Asp signed the Insect Surfers to his label, and released their first few LPs and 45s. (read the Washington Post story here) (read the David Arnson testimonial here)

December 1, 2001. Thanks to The Linux Public Broadcasting Network, recent shows by the Mermen and Insect Surfer shows have been videotaped, and have been digitized for online viewing at Surf Music.
August 2, 2001. The Insect Surfers play the Staples Center! The National Women's Basketball Team (Sparks) will be playing at the Staples Center on Thursday, August 2, 2001 at 7pm. It's beach night at the Staples Center, and the Insect Surfers will play during the half time and the time outs. Read Insect Surfer Dave's review of playing for the Sparks back in July 2000.
